Come join MHYP for our first volunteer event of the year with Denver Rescue Mission! We’re excited to have you join us as we serve dinner meals at the Lawrence Street Community Center on 1/31/2025 from 4:45 PM to 6:30 PM. This center provides a safe space for people experiencing homelessness and introduces guests to long-term programs focused on stability. After the event, join MHYP for a post-event get-together!

We can accommodate up to 10 volunteers, so sign up early!

Dress Code: Wear closed-toe shoes and modest clothing. Inappropriate attire may require rescheduling. If you wear a hat (and a ponytail for long hair), you can skip the hairnet.

Location: The address is listed as both 2222 Lawrence St, Denver, CO 80205 and 1130 Park Ave. West, Denver, CO 80205—these are for the same location.

Parking and Entry: Use the private gated lot marked "Volunteer Parking" on Lawrence Street. If the gate is closed, call 303.297.5071 or use code 0657 to enter. Additional parking is available in nearby metered or public lots. Enter through the “Volunteer Entrance.”

Once inside, head to the Volunteer Room (towards the back). If you’re the first from our group to arrive, sign in on the kiosk using philanthropy.milehighyp@gmail.com and watch the safety video. (Only one person needs to sign in for the group.)
