A monthly index of expected business activity in Colorado from Denver economist Ernie Goss jumped more than nine percentage points in August, helped by rising construction employment, after sinking into negative territory in July for the first time in nearly three years.
Goss’ monthly Business Conditions Index for the state, issued Tuesday, was 59.0 in August, up from 49.6 in July and 58.6 in June.
