Colorado Unemployment Drops below 8%

Colorado added 8,600 payroll jobs in October from the previous month, and the state unemployment rate eased a tenth of a percentage point, to 7.9 percent, theColorado Department of Labor and Employment reported Tuesday.
The October payroll job gain was the biggest since January, exceeding September's increase of 7,000, CDLE said.
