Colorado Unemployment Drops in December

About 2,400 nonfarm payroll jobs were lost in Colorado between November and December, but economists said Friday that the loss was just a blip in an ongoing job recovery.

The state's unemployment rate in December dipped to 7.6 percent from November's 7.7 percent. The unemployment figures have shown a steady decline since July, when unemployment hit 8.3 percent in Colorado.
