Denver and Colorado Springs Lag Most Cities on 2011 Job Growth Rate

Metro Denver ranked 69th among 100 large metro areas in the rate of private-sector job growth in 2011 from the previous year, and Colorado Springs was second to last, according to an analysis of federal jobs data.
The analysis is by G. Scott Thomas, who covers demographic trends in his “On Numbers” blog for The Business Journals, the online national news service of American City Business Journals.
