Denver Chamber: Solar and Wind Powered

The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce is leading the way in promoting renewable energy by next month launching a system that will power its LoDo headquarters with electricity generated from a series of photovoltaic solar panels and small wind turbines atop the building at 1445 Market Street. The system, developed by Quantum Renewable Energy of Denver, is expected to cut the chamber’s annual $150,000 power bill by at least 25%.
