Denver Launches Major Solar Power Installation Project on Low-Cost Housing

About $10 million worth of solar power systems will be put on 387 affordable-housing buildings in Denver through a 2.5 megawatt, 20-year power purchase agreement signed by the Denver Housing Authority.
Denver Mayor Michael Hancock announced the agreement Thursday.
It’s one of the biggest solar power installation projects in the Denver metro area ever in terms of megawatts and the number of buildings involved.
