Gov. John Hickenlooper signed the only two bills extending state tax credits to come out of the 2013 General Assembly. In the afternoon, he signed the measure that expands eligibility for Medicaid — a change that one report said will create more than 22,000 new jobs in the state in the next 13 years.
The Democratic governor held a ceremony at Centennial Airport, in which he made law House Bills 1080 and 1287.
