Hitachi Data Systems to Create Hundreds of Denver-area Jobs

Hitachi Data Systems will open a new office in the Meridian Corporate Center in Douglas County, creating hundreds of jobs over the next five years, Gov. John Hickenlooper and Hitachi officials officially announced Friday.
Hitachi's plans were first reported Thursday online by the Denver Business Journal.
Hitachi Data Systems Corp. (HDS) is a Santa Clara, Calif.-based maker of data storage technology. It's a subsidiary of Tokyo-based Hitachi Ltd. and employs about 5,800 people worldwide.
