Applications are now available for the Impact Denver Class of 2013! Impact Denver was developed seven years ago to provide emerging leaders in the metro area with the foundational tools they need to become more civically engaged. We hope that you will consider applying to participate in this unique educational experience in foundational civic leadership!
Impact Denver is a six-month program that aims to capture metro Denver’s next generation of leaders in the early stages of their careers as they begin to assume leadership roles in their professional and volunteer lives. The program provides an introductory framework to the challenges confronting our region, and it helps to develop civic leadership skills such as cultural competency, asset-based thinking and board engagement.
Featuring a balanced combination of half-day issue seminars that feature influential community leaders as speakers, small group discussion work, and a year-end closing event, Impact Denver educates its participants on issues that affect our region, including education, health care, arts and culture, politics, and philanthropy. In addition, the class will be split into groups and participate in community action projects for the duration of the program, giving participants hands-on experience working with nonprofit organizations.
Impact Denver benefits participants in their personal, professional, and civic lives. To begin your civic leadership journey,
