Announcing the 2026 MHYP Annual Winter Gala

A Night of Elegance, Celebration, and Giving Back

The Mile High Young Professionals (MHYP) are thrilled to announce our Inaugural Annual Winter Gala, a tradition we launched last year will be held on on Thursday, December 3rd, at the stunning Space Gallery in the Santa Fe Arts District. This formal evening transforms our usual holiday social into an elevated, purpose-driven gala that brings together our community to celebrate connection, contribution, and the close of another incredible year.

Why Now?

For years, MHYP has hosted a casual holiday social, a fun and festive way to wrap up the year. But as our organization and membership continue to grow, we saw an opportunity to create something more intentional and meaningful: an event that honors not just our professional journeys, but the collective impact our members have on Denver’s young professional community.

The Winter Gala is our chance to celebrate in style, toast to our shared successes, and strengthen our philanthropic roots, all while making a difference in the city we love.

Who This Gala Benefits

This year’s event will serve as a fundraiser for our long-time partner, Place Bridge Academy, a Denver public school dedicated to serving underprivileged and refugee students. The school provides essential resources, stability, and educational support for children navigating extraordinary challenges. Additionally we be benefittng a brand new partner, Soul Dog Rescue, a nonprofit animal rescue organization founded with the mission to spay/neuter and protect animals. 

All proceeds from the gala, including ticket sales, silent auction funds, and in-person donations, will directly benefit Place Bridge Academy and its mission to empower Denver’s youth through education and community support, as well as Soul Dog Rescue.

Why an Elegant Cocktail Event?

Let’s face it, Denver is a city that loves its flannels, puffy jackets, and après-ski casual. But every once in a while, it feels good to elevate the evening. The Winter Gala is our opportunity to step out, dress up, and bring a touch of elegance to the Mile High City. 

Guests will enjoy the music of a live DJ, an assortment of appetizers, a dessert station, a cash bar, a photo booth, a silent auction, and a special appearance from Santa himself. It’s everything we love about MHYP: community, fun, and impact wrapped in a night of sophistication and celebration.
