The Mile High Young Professionals (MHYP) are thrilled to announce our Inaugural Annual Winter Gala, a new tradition launching on Tuesday, December 16th, at the stunning Social Capitol in Arvada. This formal evening marks a milestone for MHYP, transforming our usual holiday social into an elevated, purpose-driven gala that brings together our community to celebrate connection, contribution, and the close of another incredible year.

Why Now?

For years, MHYP has hosted a casual holiday social, a fun and festive way to wrap up the year. But as our organization and membership continue to grow, we saw an opportunity to create something more intentional and meaningful: an event that honors not just our professional journeys, but the collective impact our members have on Denver’s young professional community.

The Winter Gala is our chance to celebrate in style, toast to our shared successes, and strengthen our philanthropic roots, all while making a difference in the city we love.

Who This Gala Benefits

This year’s event will serve as a fundraiser for our long-time partners, Place Bridge Academy, a Denver public school dedicated to serving underprivileged and refugee students. The school provides essential resources, stability, and educational support for children navigating extraordinary challenges.

All proceeds from the gala, including ticket sales, silent auction funds, and in-person donations, will directly benefit Place Bridge Academy and its mission to empower Denver’s youth through education and community support.

Our Partnership with Social Capital

We’re especially proud to host this inaugural event at Social Capital, a sophisticated event venue owned by a former MHYP President. This partnership feels full-circle, a reflection of what MHYP stands for: leadership, growth, and lifelong connection.

Social Capital’s stunning space, with its modern design and warm hospitality, provides the perfect backdrop for this new tradition. It’s a venue built by one of our own, and we couldn’t imagine a better place to celebrate the evolution of MHYP.

Why an Elegant Cocktail Event?

Let’s face it, Denver is a city that loves its flannels, puffy jackets, and après-ski casual. But every once in a while, it feels good to elevate the evening. The Winter Gala is our opportunity to step out, dress up, and bring a touch of elegance to the Mile High City.

Guests will enjoy two chef-curated dinner stations, a dessert station, a cash bar, a photo booth, a silent auction, and a special appearance from Santa himself. It’s everything we love about MHYP: community, fun, and impact wrapped in a night of sophistication and celebration.
