Stock Show to Stay in Denver

Tuesday's news that the National Western Stock Show & Rodeo won't seek a move from Denver may have struck many as a foregone conclusion after the collapse of a deal to relocate the complex next to a proposed Aurora hotel.
City leaders and stock show officials nevertheless gathered the news media to quell the bothersome notion that the venerable Denver tradition would leave the city where it originated 106 years ago.
