Jim Holder is an Employee Bene ts Consultant and Vice President, advising medium and large employers on advanced design and clinical strategies to reduce the burden of healthcare cost on employers and their employees. He is a dynamic leader recognized for healthcare innovations for employers, providers, and patients, having spent his career designing and implementing new products, technologies, and cost-containment strategies for high-quality healthcare delivery and population health management.
Prior to joining Holmes Murphy, Jim was Senior Vice President for Cigna’s Mountain States Region with P&L responsibility across all product lines in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. Jim has consulted with healthcare technology start-ups driving innovations in value-based healthcare, population health management, data analytics, advances in nancial, clinical, and operational performance.
In addition to extensive skills in organizational leadership, strategy development, and execution, Jim is an in uential and collaborative leader in the community. In 2016, he was appointed to the Colorado Governor’s 15-person eHealth Commission created to provide advice and guidance on advancing Health Information Technology in Colorado. Jim also serves as a board member of City Year Denver, Mile High United Way, and Downtown Denver Partnership. In 2015, he received the Volunteer of the Year Award for service on the Downtown Denver Partnership.
