The Big Idea Project believes in the potential of every student to apply their best self to do meaningful work that makes us all better. We believe the best way to activate this potential is through creating real world opportunities: experiences that challenge students to learn, think, love, and lead differently. The Big Idea Project is a transformational experience built into high school classrooms where students get the chance to drive their education through our proven service-learning model. Guided by trained teachers and coached by business mentors, students work in teams to identify social problems they personally care about, then develop strategies and put plans into action to create real change for others. The result? Students become leaders. They grow in empathy, compassion, and confidence, while acquiring necessary life skills.
