Come learn how the real estate landscape is shifting fast, as our state’s second-largest city refocuses economic development efforts and its identity around the city’s Olympic, military and technology legacies, and the unmatched outdoor lifestyle. New museums and cultural centers designed by internationally renowned architects, big growth at University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS), and enhancements to the Legacy Loop urban trail system are just some efforts under way that reflect new investment and energy in Colorado Springs.

Following leadership and recommendations provided by a 2012 ULI Advisory Panel, downtown is being reborn with the first for-rent housing built in the downtown core since 1960; fresh new stores and restaurants; major streetscape improvements; and a new district anchored by the U.S Olympic Museum. Adaptively reusing old schools, train depots, warehouses and historic churches, new projects such as Ivywild, Catalyst Campus and the Public Market rival Denver’s hippest spots. All told there are nearly 40 projects and hundreds of millions of dollars being invested in the city laid out by Civil War hero General William Jackson Palmer in 1871.
