Alan Youngblade is Director of Sales for Stryker in the Northern US and Canada. He has 20 years experience of working for Stryker, a company that has been regularly ranked in “Fortune’s Top 100 Companies to work for” – currently ranked #19. Alan’s experience has included sales, sales management, business development, product development and for the past 5 years senior leadership of a team of 75 sales and regional management professionals throughout the US and Canada markets- currently focusing solely on craniomaxillofacial (CMF) surgeries. Although tenure is high within Stryker, Alan regularly interviews candidates and has hired over 100 people and interviewed countless more to bring the right people into their strong and diverse culture.

During this month’s Table of Ten, Alan will share insight into the healthcare industry, opportunities within this $3 Trillion US Market, and share what people should think about and consider if interested in entering this exciting and rewarding industry. Alan’s passion is helping young people understand medical device and other sales-related businesses, working on their communication and interviewing skills and helping them prepare to land the right job for them and start their career while balancing their life. Alan balances his career and personal life enjoying time with his wife of 30 years, two children, snowboarding, golfing, fishing, hunting and cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones.
